Dr. Jerry is a native of Yonkers, New York. He obtained his Bachelors Degree from the University of Vermont and attended Syracuse University of New York where he completed his Medical Degree. Following an internship at Brown University Hospital in Rhode Island and a residency at the Upstate Medical Center in New York, he went on to do a one-year fellowship in adult reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
Specializing in the management of arthritis as well as total joint replacements of the knees, hips and shoulders, Dr. Jerry performs approximately 400 joint replacements per year. Secondarily to this, he performs numerous arthroscopies to both the knees and the shoulders.
Dr. Jerry is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of multiple orthopedic societies. He is in the process of designing his own total knee and total implants at this time and has been voted as on of “America’s Top Surgeons” for 2002-2003 as well as 2004-2005.
